The Lawyers are Not All Right
It’s Time to Fix That
Fit to Practice is a continuing legal education company that teaches lawyers science-backed tools to thrive and AI-era judgment, founded by two former BigLaw attorneys and General Counsels. We deliver CLE programs and corporate wellness workshops, in person and online.
CLE Has a Reputation Problem
Picture the last CLE you sat through. An attorney is reading slides about rule amendments in a monotone voice. The lawyer next to you has a playoff game in one earbud, and you’re somehow redlining a merger agreement on your phone. Kudos for the dexterity, truly. At the end, everyone collects a credit but no one was truly there.
We teach a different kind of CLE. Alix has stood on stage and talked about the morning she watched clumps of her own hair circling the shower drain. Allison has told a room full of GCs about the voice that screamed quit while she expanded her scope and worked longer days instead.
When a speaker becomes vulnerable, the laptops close, people lean in during the session and don’t stop talking about it afterwards.
So that’s what we built. Real stories from decades of high pressure practice and the messy lives around it, backed up by the data underneath every piece of advice, and accompanied with practical strategies and tools.
Practical wellness sessions for law firms and legal teams with no fluff and no added stress. In a single afternoon, your people connect, recharge, and leave with tools they'll actually use, from burnout recovery to fitness motivation and mindset strategies built for high performers. Available in person or online.
Continuing Legal Education (CLE)
CLE that lawyers actually remember. Our accredited programs cover wellbeing, competence, technology and keeping your judgment sharp while working alongside AI, each one pairing evidence-based science with real-world application and taught by attorneys who've practiced in your shoes. Available in person or online.
